Versace-Pixie
There would be several good opportunities to start a review on Kolfinna’s resort season (yeah, this season stuck between the seasons) and it would quickly look like a catalogue of prestigious labels. The little list is awesome: Chanel Cruise, Oscar de la Renta, Moschino, Giles… and Versace. It’s the latter that caught my attention above others, since the italian brand was often associated with the image of a glamorous blonde with plastic-perfect features and endless golden locks — a description that sounds exactly like the opposite of Kolfinna’s look. May you take it for a refreshing U-turn in Versace’s aesthetic line or the ultimate proof of Kolfinna’s versatility, seeing these two names side by side bears no scar of déjà-vu and creates a warmly welcomed dynamic in today’s safe and repetitive fashion landscape. And while it seems so surprising when you read it, the visuals remains faithful to the true colors of both parts: neon-bright with a twist of eighties smell for Versace, slightly kooky and pixy-like when it comes to Kolfinna.
