Jamais Deux Sans Trois

In french, we have this rather strange habit to say jamais deux sans trois. Which you could literally translate into “never twice without thrice”. Odd to hear for the first time but this small saying often turns out to be true. And the proof came yesterday when I realised I was about to write the third post in a row dedicated to Kolfinna. It’s not exactly another story as it basically follows the cover of Russh, being the editorial published inside. But this cheerful overload of good news coming from the icelandic beauty was worth putting the three texts side by side. Shot by Alex Franco and edited by Gillian Wilkins, this cover story clearly portrays Kolfinna as the talented chameleon she is. And, if the cover itself has this minimalist feeling, the fashion spread inside brilliantly combines a cornucopia of sophisticated garments with a concrete background. A mix that makes the strength of the story, besides its main character herself. Unstoppable? I wish and believe so. Who knows if tomorrow or the day after I’m not going to add a fourth part to Kolfinna’s odyssey. Well, got my little idea on that matter…
