The statement on the cover is crystal-clear: Be Magic! So, this summer’s ultimate signature style should include a major touch of wizardry within the usual sunny mood; and the variations of blue on the visual clearly set the atmosphere of this otherworldly trip waiting for us. Kolfinna naturally had to become the main character of such an uncanny plot and her icy gaze certainly echoes well the theme of this bimestrial issue of RUSSH, which seems to associate magic with mystery and minimalism instead of preppy rainbows and majestic fireworks. Interesting postulate from them — at a time when technology is quick to replace dreams — to focus on fantasy and imagination. On a slightly more prosaic note, this gorgeous cover comes right in time to speed up Kolfinna’s rise, which started with a boat-rocking first season earlier this year and was recently strengthened by some Resort gigs for presitigious houses of the level of Chanel or Oscar de la Renta. Some kind of magic here for sure, though when you look at Ms. Kristofersdottir, it doesn’t take you a minute to understand how logical it can be.
