It’s big news and I even feel like weighing my words before releasing them on this virtual white page. I was working on a totally different topic (which is awesome too and to appear soon) when my eyes went across this cover, early this morning. After some kind of sleepless night, that sort of visual was stronger than coffein to fully wake me up and — guess what?! — it’s not only due to the gorgeous color scheme (deep, warm, velvety purple background meets icecold and refreshing turquoise fonts). It’s not just the precious styling and sleek hairdo. Could be the overall impression of class or the fact it is an event worth to mark this date in Eskimo Direct’s history so far. First of all, a Brazilian Harper’s Bazaar cover is a reason to rejoice in itself and this one above would look epic on any shelf. Then, booking Tati Cotliar for the job is the kind of accomplishment one can be proud of and rhapsodic about. Without the shadow of a tiny little doubt, this masterpiece by Fabio Bartelt for the magazine’s June 2012 issue is worth a certain feeling of satisfaction when you look at the result.
