Sestra is a womenswear fashion brand launched by designer Katya Sycheva and
top model Vlada Roslyakova in spring 2011. They first met many years ago at
“Eskimo” model agency where Katya was working as a model scout and Vlada was
just starting her career.
Both brand founders have great work experience in fashion industry. Katya
spent five years
being designer’s assistant at Alena Akhmadullina and became the creative
of this label in 2008. Vlada walked countless runway shows, posed for Etro,
Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana,
Max Mara advertising campaigns and appeared on the covers of such
magazines as Vogue,
Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. Vogue Parisdeclared her on of the top 30 models
of the 2000s.

The new collection is a reflection of the young brand philosophy. Its main
priorities are perfection
of the cut and the fitting, attention to details and fabric comfort.
The complex color palette with deep shades of black, grey and olive is
highlighted by rowanberry
scarlet and frosty blue.
The focus is on timeless basic pieces rather than seasonal trends. References
to the past are not
